We have lost a brewer, but the brewing continues.

Tripelhop: Brewing Support Tools with Heart and Grit

Tripelhop began as a passion project between Thomas Verschoren, Simon, and myself. We weren’t trying to disrupt the tech world. We simply wanted to be creative and make life easier for agents working in Zendesk. Our goal was clear: build smart, intuitive apps for Zendesk that reduce stress, improve workflows, and bring a little joy back into the daily grind.

From the start, our roles fell into place naturally:

  • Simon is the technical brain, turning ideas into clean, reliable code.

  • Thomas brought his network, strategic thinking, and a steady stream of inspiration.

  • I took charge of documentation and after-sales support, making sure our users felt heard and helped.

Together, we were a well-balanced trio — like a good brew: every ingredient essential, each flavor distinct.

A Sudden Shift

Then came the twist. Thomas was offered a role at Zendesk itself. Not just a new opportunity, but a direct invitation from the very platform we build for. We were thrilled. Knowing Thomas, it is clear he’ll do brilliant work. But it also meant saying goodbye to one of our co-founders — a bittersweet moment for all of us.

Reflecting and Rebuilding

After the initial cheers and congratulations, Simon and I sat down to ask ourselves the hard questions. Can we continue without Thomas? Do we still believe in Tripelhop’s mission? Are we ready to take on more responsibility and keep the momentum going?

The answer came quickly: YES!.

We’re moving forward. Maybe not at the same pace, but with clear intent and focus on quality over quantity. With support from Premium Plus and our loyal users, we’re confident in our ability to keep delivering tools that matter.

Tripelhop isn’t just a name or a product line. It’s a commitment to thoughtful design, agent-first thinking, and a touch of playfulness.
We’ll continue to build, improve, and support — just as we always have.

Looking Ahead

Tripelhop lives on, with the same heart, the same grit, and a slightly different rhythm. And every now and then we smile and remember why we started this journey in the first place. Thomas may no longer be there day-to-day, but he’s still part of our story. We are greatful for his gigatic contribution and criticla thinking skills. And more importantly, we are looking forward to catching up with him, a Tripelhopped beer at hand.
